The Krystal hamburger restaurant opened in Chattanooga in 1932, and the company - now with more than 400 restaurants across the country - has its corporate headquarters in the city.

Krystal is known for small, square hamburgers, but the chain also serves breakfasts of eggs, bacon, toast and waffles.

In addition, Chattanooga hosts the Krystal Square Off World Hamburger Eating Championship.
