Fortune 500: California Bests Texas, New York for Corporate Headquarters

The 2012 Fortune 500 list is out. California is No. 1 with 53 companies headquartered in the state, edging out Texas (52) and New York (50).

Ohio Tops in 2011 on Site Selection Project Ranking

Ohio was tops among states in 2011 on Site Selection magazine’s annual Governor’s Cup ranking. Ohio had nearly 500 projects that met Site Selection’s criteria. Texas, the winner in 2010, was second behind the Buckeye State, with 464 projects.
