LinkAmerica, a regional asset-based transportation and logistics services provider, is expanding to Fort Worth TX. The company will open a 24,000-square-foot corporate office and training center that will create approximately 140 jobs. More on the deal here.
In Kansas, McLane Foodservice will invest more than $17.5 million to purchase and renovate a 244,000-square-foot warehouse in Shawnee. McLane is part of the McLane Co., a $34 billion supply chain services company based in Texas that provides grocery and foodservice supply chain solutions for thousands of convenience stores, mass merchants, drug stores and military locations, as well as thousands of chain restaurants. In South Carolina, wholesale bread producer Highland Baking Co. will locate its new production facility in Spartanburg County. The $9.48 million investment is expected to generate 196 new jobs over the next five years. Read more on Highland Baking here.
Kentucky has landed a corporate headquarters. Jefferson National Financial Corp. will relocate its headquarters from New York to Louisville KY, creating 95 jobs at an average annual salary of more than $85,000. More on Jefferson National’s plans here.
